While I am excited that a new affordable housing unit is going up so close to Fresno City College and that the architecture of the building is very easy on the eyes I am bothered by just one thing. While the mock up on their website is very well done and does actually mimic the building going up right now they conveniently omit the train tracks that run right next to them. I think that’s a little deceptive in my book and I hate that if you are in the low to moderate income bracket and need affordable housing you just have to settle for a place that probably wouldn’t rent very well to people of modest means. That’s just a whiff of discrimination against poor people isn’t it?
